There is something for everyone at Abundant Life. Our main meetings happen on Sunday mornings at 10:00am and 12:00pm in the Life Centre on Henry Street. We are streaming our 10:00am service online on our YouTube channel. We also have meetings throughout the week in various locations thoughout the Limerick area. We really love our city and also get involved in Limerick clean ups, Riverfest participation and St. Patrick’s Day parade. So much happens here on Sundays. With many different people coming from all walks of life and ages, there is a palpable buzz and excitement that fills the atmosphere. We are always delighted to welcome new people to join us and get a feel for what Abundant Life is all about. As well as a free tea/coffee and biscuits here is a flavour of what you can expect at one of our main meetings on Sunday mornings:
We believe strongly in community. Everyone is encouraged to get involved in a small group throughout the week in order to develop real and genuine friendships. Our life groups offer a chance to be real in a welcoming and relaxed home environment. They are a place of fun where people can learn from each other's experience and grow together.
We love Limerick and believe it is a wonderful city full of character, life and people. To show our appreciation for our city, we have participated with Limerick City Council for many years in doing litter picks on the streets, taking vast amounts of rubbish from various areas of the city, planting gardens and so much more. We regularly teams coming from other churches in the USA who also help us care for our city by serving with us. Because it is our heart to bless the community we live in, we arrange Christmas hampers so we can make a small difference to peoples lives in our city.
Our love for people extends beyond borders. We send people from the church to Belarus to serve the young & old in an orphanage & care centre. We have supported some excellent local caring organisations. We support the work of Teen Challenge/Tiglin rehabilitation centre. Through mission organisations like Open Doors & ICC, we support our brother & sisters worldwide who are persecuted for their faith. It’s a joy to support those on the mission field, Tear Fund and other effective teams who bring good news and the love of God to those who desperately need it.
